Race Summary: TANNERON was only touched off by an exciting, more experienced rival on debut over this course and distance so, with the benefit of that experience should improve to go one better and open her account. SALOON GIRL and STU'S GIRL will also know more about it after introductory runs so could get into the picture. However, a bigger threat is likely to come from one of the many well-bred newcomers. BE MERRY, GREENLITEALLTHEWAY, ARTISTE and ELIZABETH GRACE have very attractive pedigrees so must be respected, especially if attracting market support. Watch the betting.

Race 2
Race Summary: MOONACRES finished just over a length ahead of ALADDIN'S LAMP over 1200m recently but the improving latter should, on paper, turn the tables on 3kg better terms with the extra 200m also likely to suit. In what is a modest maiden, well-bred newcomer SILVER IDOL needn't be special to challenge.

Race 3
Race Summary: MANEKI NEKO has improved as a gelding to finish close-up in consecutive 1000m outings and should remain competitive over this distance. CONNERY, after an encouraging last start, receives 1,5kg from that rival which could give him the edge. LEAD TO GLORY improved with blinkers fitted to finish third in a similar contest last time and could play another leading role if confirming that progress with the headgear retained. EXPLOSIVE SPEED ran well enough in his first start over this distance last time to be competitive in a race of this nature, despite carrying an extra 3kg. Watch out for KINGSBOY.

Race 4
Race Summary: Tricky. Progressive HAMPSTEAD HEATH made the expected improvement over this trip when opening her account earlier this month and ought to feature prominently off what seems to be a lenient mark. PHILOSOPHISE concedes 4kg to that rival but has the form and experience, especially over this course and distance, to fight for victory from the widest stall. ENCHANTING CHOICE and ILHA DA MAURICIA have also shown enough to make their presence felt, along with improving last-start winner TOKYO PRINCESS.

Race 5
Race Summary: LE LEGIONNAIRE stayed on to finish almost 2-lengths ahead of ABERDEEN over 1400m recently but there won't be much separating the pair on these revised weight terms over this extended distance. MAJESTIC WARRIOR and FAIRE ADVANTAGE are capable and should acquit themselves competitively off their current marks with improved fitness on their side. NAUSHON made no impression from the widest draw last time but had legitimate excuses on that occasion and retains the ability to win a race of this nature. He could represent generous eachway value.

Race 6
Race Summary: Good race. FLY FUTURA and LUCE VERDE are closely matched on the form of a recent 1800m meeting, which the latter edged and should confirm on identical weight terms. Both VENGEANCE FOREVER and FASHIONIGMA are held on that form but are weighted to finish closer. SUMMER NIGHT CITY is in good form and is, on these revised terms, also likely to confirm her superiority over familiar foe TWICE THE MASTER. Having dropped in the ratings, IGNATIUS and CARAMEL FUDGE could get into the picture off their reduced marks.

Race 7
Race Summary: FLY TO RIO won a similar course-and-distance contest recently and should remain competitive under a 3-point penalty. Stablemate VERONIQUE has a bit to find on that form but was drawn widest on that occasion, so seems good value to turn the tables under these conditions - in gate No 1 and on 1,5kg better terms. GRANDIOSA and LOOK FORWARD have achieved their best performances over different distances but are capable of posing a threat. BLACK PATH and YOUREYESONLY complete the shortlist.

Race 8
Race Summary: Good race. SPEED RACER wasn't winning out of turn last time and has, seemingly, improved after gelding. He has scope for further progress so could follow up his maiden win with another victory on these terms. NIGHT TIGER finished second in a stronger race over track and trip last month and is likely to go well again off an unchanged mark. NIGHT BOMBER and BOOGIEFIED are dangerous to discount off their reduced marks, while KELP FOREST is consistent and also has the credentials to get involved. DRAGONFLY and KAAPSE KLOPSE aren't without a chance either.
