Race 1
Race Summary: Tricky opener. GIMMETHEGOODLIFE improved last time with the benefit of an introductory outing and could have a role to play if making further progress. SUMMER SNOW and BANK STREET ought to have come on after their pleasing debut efforts, so can also have a say. The betting market should provide a guide to the chances of the newcomers, of whom SAIL THE SEAS and stablemate DAWN TILL DUSK make particular appeal given their attractive pedigrees. LATE DECEMBER and O'TENIKWA shouldn't be discounted either.

Selections:
#3 Sail The Seas, #7 O'Tenikwa, #9 Dawn Till Dusk, #1 Summer Snow

Race 2
Race Summary: Good race. RAMA FORCESA improved markedly in his first start as a gelding to finish 2nd over 1000m and need only confirm that progress to fight for victory. UNSUNG HERO improved last time to finish 4th over 1000m when returning from a break and should be a factor if building on that progress over this extended trip. BOMBER BAY ought to have come on after a pleasing introduction and is another likely to make his presence felt. EIGHT ON EIGHTEEN and TIME HONORED are well-bred newcomers who represent prominent connections so warrant the utmost respect, especially if attracting market support.

Selections:
#1 Rama Forcesa, #8 Eight On Eighteen, #9 Time Honored, #10 Unsung Hero

Race 3
Race Summary: Tricky. LION RAMPART and the filly ALL IS GREEN are the only runners in the race with experience and that should stand them in good stead. The former has strong form credentials so a newcomer, even in receipt of 3kg, will have to be smart to thwart him. However, the progeny of freshman sires Buffalo Bill Cody and One World have hit the ground running so market support for SOUTHERN EXPRESS, KAIBOY and RATTLESNAKE has to be taken seriously. MYSTIC MAJESTY and MASTEROFTHEDESERT are others to keep an eye on.

Selections:
#7 Lion Rampart, #3 Southern Express, #6 Kaiboy, #5 All Is Green

Race 4
Race Summary: A potential match-race. ICE RAIN was too far out of her ground from a wide draw last time and should fare better now from stall No 1. PRETTY PRECIOUS has shown promise up the straight but should, on pedigree, have more to offer over this extended trip. JET TO THE SUN, stable companion CHARLOTTE BRONTE, returning RUBY CLAIRE and well-bred DARLING GIRL are also likely to improve for the step up in trip so could complete the minors.

Selections:
#9 Pretty Precious, #1 Ice Rain, #5 Charlotte Bronte, #3 Jet To The Sun

Race 5
Race Summary: ENGLISH MISTRESS, LICKETY SPLIT, LUCKY THIRTEEN and SANSA STARK renew rivalry having finished in that order over course and distance last time. PRINCESS OF BAYEUX has a bit to find on that form, although they should finish a lot closer to each other on these revised weights terms. ANALYTIC has gone off the boil but remains capable and an equipment change could bring about improvement.

Selections:
#3 Lickety Split, #8 English Mistress, #5 Sansa Stark, #7 Lucky Thirteen

Race 6
Race Summary: Good race. DISTINCTION won a stronger race over 1100m recently despite losing ground at the start. She is more than capable of following up under a 2-point penalty. PACIFIC GREEN and JAPANESE ROSE are held on that form but could get closer over the extra. MISS MARGUERITE, UNCONQUERABLE LADY and LADY LOOK ALIKE have shown enough to get involved too.

Selections:
#2 Distinction, #6 Unconquerable Lady, #7 Pacific Green, #3 Miss Marguerite

Race 7
Race Summary: A small but competitive field. RIO QUERARI, MUFASA and MR COBBS are smart sprinters but finished behind DANCE VARIETY last time over 1000m and are unlikely to turn the tables. ICY BLAST is 2.5kg better off than that rival for 2.40 lengths so should make his presence felt on these terms. A bigger threat, however, is likely to come from last-start winner TOUGH TERRAIN who has just 51kg to carry. ELUSIVE WINTER is held by that rival on recent form but is relatively unexposed and could improve to stake a claim.

Selections:
#5 Dance Variety, #3 Tough Terrain, #6 Elusive Winter, #4 Icy Blast

Race 8
Race Summary: PALO QUEEN and STRATA are the best-weighted runners in the race but the former ought to have the measure of that rival on these terms having fared better in a recent meeting over track and trip. EASY MONEY is worse off at the weights with both but did improve that day in first-time blinkers and need only confirm that progress with the headgear retained to thwart the pair once more. Hard-knockers WORDSWORTH and WYLIE JACK have the form and experience to pose a threat to their female rivals.

Selections:
#9 Easy Money, #6 Palo Queen, #8 Wordsworth, #4 Wylie Jack

Best Win: #7 LION RAMPART
Best Value Bet: #9 EASY MONEY
Best Longshot: #9 EASY MONEY
