Whilst the ground for Friday's racing is good to soft, good in places on the chase course and good to soft on the hurdles track, Clerk of the Course George Hill has made the decision to hold a precautionary inspection on Saturday morning at 7:30am.

Similar problems are being felt at Newcastle ahead of their feature Fighting Fifth Hurdle fixture on Saturday. A centimetre of snow has fell at Gosforth Park and the track will hold an inspection at 2:30pm on Friday afternoon.

Elsewhere in the U.K., Leicester and Carlisle host meetings on Sunday which will require Saturday inspections - Carlisle is reporting frozen ground on the track, which would see them unable to race.

In Ireland, Fairyhouse are set to hold a two-day meeting over the weekend with Saturday's card subject to a morning inspection.
