Having cleaned up the English Champion Trainer title Mullins has headed to Punchestown.

There are three Grade 1s on the card for Tuesday and in the Champion Novice Hurdle he saddles 5 of the 9 runners. His Mystical Power with Mark Walsh on board is on 7/4 along with de Bromhead's Slade Steel with Racheal Blackmore riding.    The Mullins-Townend combo is with Tullyhill on 6/1.

The Champion Chase Gr 1 also has 9 runners with the Mullins-Walsh Dinoblue on 3/2.

Joseph O'Brien is hoping to disturb the Mullins applecart with Banbridge on 7/2 and de Bromhead has similar pretensions with Captain Guiness who was scratched from Ayr to run here and as usual Racheal Blackmore has the ride.

That pairing are hoping Monty's Star can get them a win in the Champion Novice Chase – they are on 2/1 with Spillane's Tourer on 3/1 for JJ Mangon and Mark Walsh and at 7/2 Embassy Gardens is the Mullins-Townend candidate on 7/2.
