Has always showed ability, placed at Morphettville early in his career and was only beaten 4.5 lengths behind Wakanjeja at Morphettville last October. Caught the eye in town first-up when beaten 1.2 lengths behind Emerald Court and followed up when outclassed behind Boognish on Adelaide Cup Day. Big drop in grade, drawn out of trouble and good enough to be winning a race like this.

Race 1, No. 9
Had one run in New South Wales for Kurt Goldman before joining Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea. Didn't do a lot in his first two SA runs last year but has been to the trials twice in the lead-up to this and the blinkers go on. Big ask first-up at 1800m but another drawn out of trouble and would have been set for this.
