Race 1 - 12:05PM D’AQUINO’S GRAND HOTEL & PROUT ASSIST MAIDEN (1000 M):

1. Foxwell is a lightly raced six-year-old that has only had six starts and has been placed in four of them. He returned from a bit more than two years off the scene when a close-up fourth at Scone and then followed that up with a good second on the Riverside track at Wagga when favourite.

Dangers6. I'm Independent has been placed in three of her seven starts, and comes into this on the back of a last start second at Wellington. 5. Charge Away ran second at Bathurst when last produced and she's only missed a place once from her six starts. 7. Monarcle is on debut and her latest trial was solid enough to be rated a place chance in this.

How to play it: Foxwell WIN.

Race 2 - 12:45PM MCPHERSON’S PARTS & SERVICE/AEH GROUP SUPER MAIDEN (1400 M):

8. Ample Time has had two runs back from a spell and has finished third in each of them at Canberra and Taree. She has the advantage of barrier one here and may be able to settle a little closer to the lead.

Dangers11. Hot Jive started favourite at Wellington when resuming from a spell and finishing fourth. She backed that up with a run at Canterbury and wasn't beaten far despite finishing last in a small field of five. 14. Our Celebrity has been placed in each of her two starts, and she's drawn to get the run of the race here. 1. Battle Fleet ran well enough when resuming from a spell at Moruya for a new stable and should be improve by that effort.

How to play it: Ample Time EACH WAY.

Race 3 - 1:25PM MCA ENGINEERING CLASS 2 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1600 METRES):

7. Laisvas has been racing in top form with two wins and two placings from her last four starts. She won at Dubbo before finishing second at Wellington and Narromine, then scored in good style at Wellington last time out. She's drawn well and should be prominent throughout.

Dangers2. Quinky Deel was a Kembla Grange maiden winner back in January, and has since returned to racing with a down the track effort at Hawkesbury before showing improvement at Wyong last time out. He looms as one of the hardest to beat here. 1. Ferrari Man ran well when resuming with a second at Queanbeyan, and can improve here on a last start midfield effort at Wagga. 4. Nest In The Hills ran well when second at Mudgee three starts ago, and has been midfield in two subsequent runs at Wellington and Narromine. He has solid claims against these.

How to play it: Laisvas WIN.

Race 4 - 2:05PM PARKES FARM CENTRE & CAN-AM BM 58 HANDICAP (1000 METRES:

8. Starane broke through to score a deserved win at Mudgee two starts ago, then was far from disgraced when finishing sixth behind Elson Boy at Dubbo when not beaten too far. He returns from a freshen-up in this.

Dangers2. Titan Star won at Canberra in January, and he has been racing well enough in four runs since then to be rated a chance here. 3. Beau Factor was a last start placegetter at Wellington and is not out of this, while 7. Sparkingly was a solid last start third at Wellington and warrants respect.

How to play it: Starane WIN.

Race 5 - 2:45PM STEVE MAGILL EARTHMOVING BM 58 HANDICAP (1300 M):

12. Deep Shimmer has had two starts back from a spell and has performed well in each of them with a resuming third at the Sapphire Coast being followed by a fifth at Moruya. She is set to peak in this.

Dangers4. Scorpius ran home well to finish second at Narromine at his latest start and he has shown enough ability in his career to be rated a leading chance against these. 2. Skyforger was a Moree winner two starts ago, then failed in a Highway at Newcastle last November before being spelled. He looks suited here. 11. Big Wandji broke his maiden at Narromine when last produced and can figure prominently again with a repeat of that.

How to play it: Deep Shimmer EACH WAY.

Race 6 - 3:20PM TELESCOPE TYRES & HANKOOK TYRES SATELLITE HCP (1200 METRES):

8. Extravagent Lad has been racing well in recent runs, with a couple of handy efforts in TAB Federal grade at Canberra being followed by a last start third at Wagga behind Love Shuck when beaten just over two lengths. He has a good barrier here.

Dangers1. Kattegat did the job well to score a win at the Sapphire Coast two starts ago, then led and fought on well to finish second behind Wolves at Kembla Grange. This looks well within his reach. 4. Raging Rush is a consistent performer that has won five from 16 and scored at Quirindi three starts ago. He's been placed at Dubbo and Wellington in his latest two starts and is worth plenty of thought here. 2. Rathlin is a handy galloper that is resuming from a spell here but has the ability to sprint well fresh.

How to play it: Extravagent Lad.

Race 7 - 4:05PM PARKES SERVICES CLUB PARKES CUP (1600 METRES):

5. Toretto ran hone well enough when fifth behind Merc at Canberra two starts ago, the followed that up with a second behind Baledon at Canberra. He's ready to peak now at his fourth run back from a spell and the step up to the mile suits.

Dangers8. Listen To The Band has a good record with five wins from 12 starts. He's had his share of problems but has solid form having been close-up in the WRA Country Championships at Coonamble before finishing 11th in the final at Randwick. He ran well in the Wagga Town Plate at his latest start. 12. Aesthete led by a big margin at Tamworth at his latest start and kept going to score a big win. He can run well again here if he can repeat that effort. 2. Ready To Humble won at Canberra when second-up from a spell, and wasn't beaten too far at Canberra last time out after leading.

How to play it: Toretto WIN.

Race 8 - 4:42PM COACHMAN HOTEL PUNTERS CLUB CLASS 2 SHOWCASE PLATE (1200 M):

13. Cruizingdafield won on the Kensington track at her second start then had a long spell and changed stables before resuming with a solid fourth at Wagga. She will be better for that run and this looks a nice race for her.

Dangers6. Sturn Words won well at the Sapphire Coast two starts ago, then finished fifth at Wagga last time out when far from disgraced. He should run well again here. 1. Cheap Shot won his first two starts back in 2022, and tackled a Highway at Randwick at the end of that year, before being spelled after a third at Orange in January last year. He's had a trial leading into this and bears close watching. 4. Starros has been racing well in four starts this year, and he can make an impact here.

How to play it: Cruizingdafield WIN.
