Winning Trainer: Kelly Schweida

"All her runs have been really good. In the Group 1 the other day Larry thought she should have gone closer to getting beaten two lengths in a Group 1 when she only got beaten (by) three was probably form for this sort of race.

"We really freshened her up. Black type is so important. She's a three-quarter sister to Capitalist.

"Our jockey was pretty confident. I thought she was over the odds. A really good bunch of owners in this horse."

Break now: "She's been in for a long time. This is her first prep, really. We tricked with ten days (between runs) but she'll go for a break. But winning black type is gold for these fillies."

"I think he (Kelly) would have been more confident if this race was over 1800. They had her in an 1800 metre race last year and we thought she was really looking for further.

"Obviously this race didn't go ahead and they've run this. He's just freshened her up. He's done a fantastic job. She's very dour in the other races even though she ran really, really well. She was just a bit dour.

"She never traveled and just kept plodding to the line where today she had a bit of dash. Full honours to Kelly. He trained her to perfection, really.

"She began alright but just doesn't have the speed. In those early two-year-old races she showed a bit of speed but just hasn't (since).

"This makes her very valuable and I think what they paid for her they're laughing all the way to the bank."
