The Neil Osborne-trained seven-year-old tackles the Ollies Security 4Yo & Up Benchmark 65 Hcp (1400m).

To Dubawi Go resumed first-up last start in a similar event at Canberra on April 2 scoring a long priced 1.8 length win on April 2.

Her official starting price was $31 but she paid more on the Tote and with corporate bookmakers. Some of the lucky owners secured luxurious odds.

“I couldn’t believe the price bookmakers put up,” Osborne, also a part-owner said. “One of the owners got $91 on Betfair.

“It was just crazy. She always goes well first-up. They (bookmakers) obviously didn’t read the form right.

“It was a real good win at Canberra. She sat just off the pace and rolled home with momentum when it mattered.”

To Dubawi Go has proven a good money maker for her owners.

By Dubawi, To Dubawi Go has recorded six wins and 11 placing’s from 52 starts earning $110,500 prizemoney. Not a bad return for a yearling that cost just $11,000.

“She’s been a good mare, always tries,” Osborne said. “There’s not much of her. She’s only little and stands about 15.2 hands and weighs around 450 kilos.

“She’s pulled up in great order from Canberra. She’s going as good as she’s ever gone in her life.”

Osborne can’t put his finger on exactly why To Dubawi Go is in a purple patch of form.

“I don’t really know,” he admitted. “She’s certainly a happy horse. I’ve changed her feed and routine around a bit, just done a few little things different and she’s responding.

“She’s tightened up from her first-up run but I haven’t done that much with her, just tried to keep her a bit fresh.

“The track at Wagga should suit her, she loves the sting out of the ground, and there looks to be a bit of pace in the race which she needs to do her best.

“She should be hard to beat again.”
