Peace Force is one of 11 acceptors in the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes over 1350 metres at Doomben.

Peace Force has raced three times this campaign, all at stakes level, for placings in the Group 3 Nivison Stakes and Listed Festival Stakes.

The mare will be ridden by Tye Angland on Saturday but drew wide in gate 10.

The race contains a second interstate raider with Peter Moody accepting with Weinholt.

A winner of two of his last three runs at Geelong and Ballarat, Weinholt drew barrier four and will be ridden by Glen Boss.

Steel Zip drew barrier six for Jeff Lloyd as he attempts his fourth successive victory.

The veteran grey was a last start winner of the Listed Keith Noud Quality.

Tony Gollan has accepted with four runners with Temple of Boom (Tegan Harrison) drawing gate seven, Fontelina (Jim Byrne) in two, Brave Ali (Alannah Fancourt) in 11 and Gundy Spirit (Luke Tarrant) jumping from three.

Other key hopes include Miss Cover Girl (Glen Colless) in gate eight and Saluter (Michael Cahill) from barrier one.

Group Two-winning sprinter Fontelina won his first race since November 2013 at his fourth run this preparation since being transferred to Eagle Farm trainer Tony Gollan. He enjoyed a perfect trip in fourth place on the rails from his good barrier (2). He was travelling well but blocked briefly on straightening, got a split at the 200m, hit the front at the 100m and went on to win comfortably. It was also a good ride by Jim Byrne. Favourite Saluter went to the front but was pressured in the mid-stages (by Temple Of Boom). He drew to a clear lead at the 200m but could not hold off the winner in the closing stages after his early efforts for a good second. Weinholt had an ideal trip in third place behind the leaders, briefly looked a chance when he moved up at the 200m and battled on from there to just hold the minor placing from Gundy Spirit who ran on from sixth at the home turn for (2.3 lengths) fourth.
