Angland Hoping Streak Continues At Scone

3 minute read

In-form jockey Tye Angland will head to the Scone carnival on Friday with a good chance to extend his current winning streak.

Angland has ridden 17 winners in the last three weeks including four at last week’s Wagga Gold Cup carnival.

He won Friday’s Wagga Gold Cup for Chris Waller on the favourite Life Less Ordinary and goes after another big country win for the stable on Friday when he rides McCreery in the $200,000 Scone Cup.

Angland was suspended for his winning ride on Life Less Ordinary in the Wagga Gold Cup but is free to ride at the Scone carnival on Friday and Saturday before starting his ban.

His other rides at Scone include mounts for the Snowden and Godolphin stables.

His bookings include Assimilate in the Scone Guineas, Ghisoni in the Dark Jewel Classic and Kuro in the Ortensia Stakes.
