Muntaseera may be about to live up to her early promise when she lines up in the Group 1 TAB Classic at Morphettville.

With form appearing disappointing on paper, trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace had not given up on Ciaron Maher and David Eustace and the three-year-old now gets another shot at Group 1 glory in the TAB Classic, registered as the Robert Sangster Stakes, at Morphettville.

Along with Instant Celebrity and Night Raid as are the only three-year-olds in Saturday's 1200m sprint for fillies and mares, Muntaseera has promised a lot but has also been beset by bad luck through her career.

The filly has won three of her 13 starts and finally cracked it for a stakes' race victory at Morphettville last time, winning the Listed Redelva Stakes (1100m) on April 17.

Along the way, Muntaseera finished second in a Blue Diamond Prelude last year and fifth in the Blue Diamond Stakes as a two-year-old, while last spring, after a victory over 1000m at Caulfield, she ran third at Group 3 level.

Bigger things were expected this campaign, but races did not pan out right with Muntaseera finishing fourth first-up against older horses at Flemington before running third at The Valley over 1200m last month.

Even last start Muntaseera looked in trouble before bursting through late to win.

"We were confident of her having a really good preparation but she hadn't won up until that last start, not through anyone's fault, or her fault, but she showed her class last time," Eustace said.

"Now that she has broken through, I think she is up to running well in a race like this.

"Funnily enough, I think that helped the other day. She likes a bit of cover which enables her to quicken up."

The TAB market has been reshaped since Tuesday's draw.

Instant Celebrity is now the $6 top elect from Mizzy at $6.50 while Sisstar, who was the $7 favourite, has drifted to $9, with Muntaseera a $9.50 chance.
