"She's a filly we've always had a big opinion of and she obviously did a good effort on her first preparation and nothing went right last start. Just got into a bad position on a slow speed on a wet track and it is great to see her finally get on top of the track today.

"Originally she was going to run in this race two weeks ago still had the plan to potentially get her to the JJ Atikins but obiovus;y on th back o the race being called off, that changed our plans and we were happy to run her here again and probably save her for another three weeks when there is another 1400 metre stakes race here.

"The preparation has been all about getting a bit of prize money behind her. She's a Magic Millions filly that they paid big money with Proven Thoroughbreds and getting that stakes win very early on in the campaign is a really big effort and now we can look forward to try and target her to a three-year-old Magic Millions (race)."

Better over further: "Without a doubt. When she can quicken she's got such a big stride and she really lengthens. It was a ten-out-of-ten ride from Willie. He was very smart early navigagating to pop off the fence and was following the right horse. From that she will only improve."

"It was very nice. The barrier went a long way to help and obviously I got to just jump out and lay on her neck. I was in a very good position.

"She had to dig deep. I think she was probably looking for a bit further so she had to dig deep to the line.

"The thing I liked was that the more I rode her the more she responded."
