"He's a better horse (since operation). He's more mature too and grown up. Bit bigger and stronger than what he was. All good.
"It looked like he laid in. I don't think he's a wet tracker.
"I think he's a lot better on top of the ground and might have had something to do with the laying on.
"He'll get 1200 metres for sure."

"He did lay in a bit. He the sort of horse that has only won by a similar margin.
"He jumped away super. I imagined him traveling last in a field that had three potential leaders but he jumped good and from then on I thought I'll keep him in a rhythm on this heavy track - his first time on it.
"I was able to have Kingston's Here on our inside and dictate to it to a degree. Archer's Paradox seemed to be pretty good at the 250 (metre mark) so I thought I'd better not take it too lightly.
"It is typical of of him (that) he only does what he wants to but he was entitled to win a benchmark 90 today.
"Only recently being outdone by the Big Goodbye, he's got nicer races in him as well and he's a lovely horse going forward."
