The G1 Doomben Cup (2000m) has become a fascinating race now with the addition of Kovalica ($6) into the mix following his scratching out of the Rough Habit Plate.

He takes on the multiple G1 winner Zaaki ($2.10) as well as defending champion Huetor ($8) and other recent group winners Atishu ($11), Zeyrek ($15) and the grand mare Duais ($11) who would be hitting the race first up.

Oaks credentials go on the line in the G2 The Roses (2000m) where a full field of fillies stake a claim for the G1 in two weeks.

Renaissance Woman ($3.50) looked so good last outing and has to be the one to beat but will take on last start G1 winner Affaire A Suivre ($6) and the former Golden Slipper winner Fireburn ($8) having another go at staying.

Stradbroke hopes sit via the G3 BRC Sprint (1350m) and some horses desperately need a win to get in. Antino ($4.50) will be chasing that however in form rivals like Cardinal Gem ($6) and Coal Crusher ($15) will make presence felt.

Other features on the day include the G3 Pam O'Neill Stakes (1600m) for the fillies and mares, Listed Carter Stakes (1200m) for the 2yo fillies and the Listed Chief De Beers (1110m) for the short course sprinters.
