Inglis has released the catalogue for its first live sale of the year with 808 lots to be offered across three days in February.

The sale that has spawned the likes of Extreme Choice, I Am Invincible, Choisir, She Will Reign, Yankee Rose, Vow And Declare, Classique Legend and Brazen Beau has had a slight change of format with Highway Session to be discontinued and all lots offered under the 'Book 1' banner.

The sale will start on Sunday, February 11 and conclude on Tuesday, February 13.

All up, 110 individual sires are represented including established stars I Am Invincible, Snitzel, Extreme Choice, Zoustar and Written Tycoon, while Farnan, Wootton Bassett, Bivouac, Ole Kirk and Ghaiyyath and are among 25 first-season sires represented.

"The support we have had from a broad cross section of the best breeders in Australasia for this sale has again been fantastic," Inglis Bloodstock chief executive Sebastian Hutch said.

"People love doing business at this sale and I think that is reflected in the quality of the catalogue.

"People recognise that the sale represents a true and fair market year after year, they love being in Sydney in summer and buyers enjoy looking for their next star racehorse at the best auction complex in the world.

"Year after year, there is tremendous and ever-improving quality at the sale and this is borne out in the racecourse results across Australia.

"The value on offer is just incredible, with the sale producing more Australian Stakes winners since 2018 that could have been bought for $100,000 or less than any other sale.

"Also consider the fact that star Classic graduates over the past 12 months Pride Of Jenni, Buenos Noches, Palaisipan, Opal Ridge and Beauty Eternal would between them have cost $350,000 to buy - none more than $100,000 individually - and have won over $10.4m in prizemoney."
