The final day of The Pinnacles has arrived, headlined by the Damien Oliver Gold Rush. It's the last time we'll see the racing icon in the saddle, but can he end his illustrious career on a winning note?
The final day of The Pinnacles carnival has arrived, with the Perth Racing Carnival culminating in the Damien Oliver Gold Rush.
Fittingly, the Gold Rush will be the GOAT's final race ride, rounding out a superb career that many (if not most) could only dream of.

For me, the three-year-old RIPCORD looks the play in the Gold Rush. Brilliant off a strong tempo in the Placid Ark, he backed up that performance when quickening strongly off just a moderate tempo in the Winterbottom a fortnight ago.
Looking at the Racing and Sports speed map (which you can find for FREE in our enhanced form guide), there appears to be good pace in this event which should suit the son of Written By if previous performances are anything to go by.
There's no Overpass or Oscar's Fortune in this race and he already rates right there with his main market dangers Comfort Me, Ayrton and Munhamek.
If Super Smink was to gain a run, things may change, but for right now, Ripcord looks one of the better bets of the afternoon at Ascot.
Over to the Best Bet of the card which pops up in race three.
The Takahide Ikenushi-trained MEGAMI looks to have found a great race to continue her good run of recent form.
The four-year-old handled the rise in trip a fortnight ago but it's easy to see that her best form comes at the mile, having won four and placed on another two occasions from her 8 starts at the trip.
She may be spotting the market danger in Billy Ray a start turning for home, but trust Parnham to get it right and come storming right over the top of them late in the race.
