The Summer Sprint Series bonus is available to any trainer who can win two of the three Listed sprint features in Adelaide from December through to February.

Struck By claimed the opening feature, the Christmas Handicap, and can drop back to the 1100m trip on Saturday for just the second time in his 29-start career chasing his 10th win that can take earnings well past the half million dollar barrier.

Travis Doudle is keeping his options open, also nominating Struck By for the $175,000 John Dillion Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Australia Day and the Australia Day Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley on Saturday.

Struck By is one of a host of talented locals nominated in the Adelaide sprint feature.

Taunting comes back to SA after two impressive Victorian wins at Cranbourne and Ballarat, Validated is back on his home deck after running fourth behind Not An Option in the Listed Chester Manifold at Flemington on New Year's Day.

Savatoxl returns from a West Australian campaign after he was beaten 7.9 lengths behind Overpass in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes before running 13th in the Group 3 Gold Rush behind Munhamek.

Wylie Handicap runner-up Aitch Two Oh is set to resume along with Queman who has been freshened up following the Gytrash Final at Morphettville in November.

Queman and David Jolly's Larimer Street are also among nominations for the $175,000 W.J Adams Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield on Friday.
