An extremely hot day is forecast for Australia Day which will ensure a good racing surface that could favour runners in the first half of the field.

We've studied the form and provided our selections for each race below.

RACE 1 - 1:40PM: HYLAND RACE COLOURS PLATE (1100 METRES)

Hartman (2) resumes for his second preparation as a gelding.

The Chris Waller-trained son of Exceed And Excel has had two trials leading into this first-up assignment with the three-year-old given a strong hit out to win.

Last preparation he raced against good quality opposition, finishing sixth to Lost on debut and Arctic Glamour second-up.

There looks to be good speed in the race which should see James McDonald enjoy a nice run just behind it.

1 Unit Each Way – Hartman (2)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 1

RACE 2 - 2:15PM: DRINKWISE PLATE (1400 METRES)

Listentozou (8) looks ready to win following two good runs to start this preparation.

The Chris Waller-trained son of Zoustar finished third behind two above average horses first-up.

Last start he found the front in the straight over this course and distance but was picked off in the shadows of the post to finish a neck second.

James McDonald can settle in a prominent position from the inside barrier.

2 Units – Listentozou (8)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 2

RACE 3 - 2:50PM: THOROUGHBRED INDUSTRY CAREERS NATIONAL PONY RACING SERIES HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

Hell Hath No Fury (6) had been building towards a win when she broke through last start over this course and distance.

The Annabel Neasham-trained four-year-old mare found the line strongly two starts back at Randwick after being held up to finish a neck second.

Last start she found the right race and made a mess of them, winning easily by two lengths.

Jason Collett was in the saddle for the win and I like that he's been kept on board.

A genuine tempo will be to her liking.

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 3

RACE 4 - 3:25PM: OLE KIRK FIRST YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

Franz Josef (3) impressed when winning on debut over 1400m at Randwick.

The Ryan and Alexiou-trained Snitzel gelding settled outside the lead before dashing quickly in the straight to win by a head.

That was a month ago and he has since been back to the trials to keep his fitness up.

Renowned front running jockey Tim Clark takes the ride and should be able to control the speed in front.

1 Unit – Franz Josef (3)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 4

RACE 5 - 4:00PM: BIVOUAC FIRST YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

Master Showman (3) once again draws poorly but is racing well and looks close to a win.

The Snitzel gelding worked home strongly after settling back to finish third by less than a length over 1200m here.

The rise to 1300m looks ideal and the last time he competed over this course and distance he finished a head second.

We'll need a ten out of ten ride but we have one of the best in Nash Rawiller to pilot for us.

1 Unit – Master Showman (3)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 5

RACE 6 - 4:40PM: LISTED INGLIS AUSTRALIA DAY CUP (2400 METRES)

Naval College (2) lines up in the Listed Australia Day Cup in terrific form.

Two starts back the Annabel Neasham-trained ran on strongly to win over 2000m at Randwick by 1.3 lengths.

He followed that up with an impressive showing in the Listed January Cup where he dominated his rivals to win by 3.8 lengths.

The rise to 2400m looks well in his wheelhouse and James McDonald goes on.

2 Units – Naval College (2)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 6

RACE 7 - 5:20PM: THE ARROWFIELD ADVANTAGE HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

Secret Revolution (3) was very good when resuming at Canberra over 1000m in Benchmark 84 company.

The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained gelding burst through a gap to dash clear and win by 1.5 lengths.

He'll strip fitter second-up, drops in class and retains the services of Tommy Sherry.

From barrier 3, Sherry can settle just off what looks like a quick speed.

1 Unit – Secret Revolution (3)

BET NOW: Warwick Farm Race 7
