Selections based on a heavy track.

Race 1 - 1:25PM BELLEVUE HOTEL TUNCURRY CLASS 2 HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

1. Lord Bob did the job well when hitting the line well to score at Walcha at his latest start. Aaron Bullock was aboard there and sticks for this assignment.

Dangers5. Whispering Cate comes into this on the back of a last start second at this track. She ran well at Tamworth before that and must be given plenty of thought. 4. Sixspeed was resuming from a long spell when he led throughout to score at this track last month. He should be prominent again with a repeat performance. 2. Singapura is resuming from a spell and has had a trial in preparation.

How to play it: Lord Bob WIN.

Race 2 - 2:00PM TUNCURRY BEACH BOWLING CLUB CLASS 2 HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

3. Inferencia ran well at this track two starts ago when finishing second and since then was midfield on the Beaumont track at Newcastle. She's drawn well here and can bounce back to her best.

Dangers2. Frosbie is resuming from a spell on the back of a trial and should be primed to run well fresh. 1. Powder Man is a last start Coffs Harbour winner and can go on with the job in this. 7. She's Rewarding has been thereabouts since resuming and should not be underestimated.

How to play it: Inferencia WIN.

Race 3 - 2:35PM MIDCOAST AUTOMOTIVE GROUP MAIDEN (1200 METRES)

2. Chaserlette has only had the one start but that resulted in a second on debut at this track. She was big odds that day but ran well, and only needs to repeat that to be a winning chance here.

Dangers4. The Young Years has been placed in three of her five starts and has had a trial at this track to prepare for this first-up assignment. She is worth plenty of thought. 6. Cool Machine was placed when resuming and hasn't been disgraced in two subsequent starts. 7. Mosgiel Daisy is on debut but showed enough in her latest trial to be rated a hope.

How to play it: Chaserlette WIN.

Race 4 - 3:10PM LAKES AND OCEAN HOTEL FORSTER C1 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

8. Call Me Super was resuming from a spell and justified a short quote to score a dominant win at Coffs Harbour. She looks to have the potential to be able to go on with the job in this.

Dangers6. Grand Horizon failed at this track two starts ago before showing improvement with a last start Newcastle placing. She can be in the thick of things again. 1. Where's The Fire has been placed in his latest two runs at Murwillumbah and has minor claims here. 2. Sparkingly resumed with a down the track effort at Dubbo but can improve.

How to play it: Call Me Super WIN.

Race 5 - 3:45PM CLUB FORSTER COUNTRY BOOSTED BM58 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

1. Damasus Gate was a winner at this track and then at Taree before tackling city grade when finishing sixth at Canterbury. He will find this easier and loves heavy tracks.

Dangers6. Lord Finland was just behind the placings last time out at Parkes and has shown enough talent to be rated a chance against these. 5. The Coat Hanger led when running third behind Damascus Gate last time out and warrants thought again. 3. Discreet Lady ran second in that same race and is worth including again.

How to play it: Damascus Gate WIN.

Race 6 - 4:20PM FORSTER BOWLING CLUB SHOWCASE SUPER MAIDEN (1400 METRES)

5. Pennart resumed from a spell with a last start second at Tareen ad he'd been placed in three of his previous four starts. He is ready to win now.

Dangers14. Peri Lass was a beaten favourite when a last start third at Newcastle but the run was solid enough for her to be rated a leading chance against these. 4. Divine Note ran well enough last time out for him to be considered a place hope here. 7. Tanglewood Jimmy is on debut but did enough in his trial to be given place prospects.

How to play it: Pennart WIN.

Race 7 - 5:00PM TUNCURRY BEACH BOWLING CLUB BM74 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

1. Time For Victory accounted for Angara at Gosford two starts ago then stepped up to city grade when failing to beat a runner home on the Kensington track. This is much easier and he likes wet tracks.

Dangers: 3. Debussy ran well when placed at Newcastle when last produced and a repeat of that would give him claims in this. 4. Markwell Dreamer was resuming from a spell when midfield at Newcastle and warrants thought here, while 6. October Revolution won at Taree two starts ago and wasn't beaten too far at Coffs Harbour when last produced.

How to play it: Time For Victory EACH WAY.

Race 8 - 5:40PM NEWHAVEN PARK MNCRA COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS (1400 METRES)

4. That's Molly is a talented mare that has won five of her 17 starts and comes into this fresh having not raced since last July when winning at Coffs Harbour. She's run well in Highway races and has had two solid trials to prepare for this.

Dangers: 5. Cenotes hit winning form when scoring three straight victories at Grafton, Moree and Tamworth in easier grade. Has contested three Highway events since resuming from a spell and followed a resuming 12th with a much improved third at Rosehill. Since ran well again when close-up at Rosehill. 1. Bantarki is a four-time winner from 15 starts and while they have all been on country tracks, he has raced well in city grade races of late when finishing just behind the placings when close-up. 13. Agirlsbestfriend is a talented mare which is favourite for this event on the strength of some solid form. Was performing well towards the end of last campaign and since resuming she improved on her first two runs back from a spell with a couple of handy Highway runs at her past two starts.

How to play it: That's Molly EACH WAY.

Best Bets:
Race 5 (1) Damascus Gate
Race 8 (4) That's Molly.

Best Value:
Race 7 (1) Time For Victory.
