The Patrick Payne three-year-old started her winning streak with the Tasmanian Guineas (1600m) on 5 January, followed up by the Thousand Guineas (1600m), the Strutt Stakes (2100m), and culminated with the time-honoured Kevin Sharkie Tasmanian Oaks (2100m) in Launceston on Sunday.

In the Oaks, Wings Of Song ($2.30) was given another gun ride by Jye Mcneil and again proved too strong for the brave Very Sewreel ($2.90) with Ala Moana ($14) third.

"It's a big team effort and a beautiful ride by Jye today," Michelle Payne, representing her brother, said after the win.

"She's an absolute sweetheart. I'm not sure of the plan with her, but she's done a great job so far."

"Her second time at the 2100m, and I felt that she was stronger today.

"She had a nice resting run; there was a bit going on in the middle stages, and she adapted to that situation really well, and I loved the way she just joined in with ease then put the race away," Jye McNeil said.

Wings Of Song has now raced 11 times for six wins and three minor placings.
