In-form jockey Aaron Bullock took out last year's race and no doubt he'll be in strong demand this time.

Bullock booted home Akasawa to a half-length win with that horse going on to finish a creditable eighth behind Sizzle Minizzle in the Final at Randwick.

"We have set aside a special VIP area near the winning post," said Jack Penfold, Tamworth Jockey Club's General Manager.

"Tickets are just $60 which includes gate entry and racebook, an exclusive bar, a $20 meal voucher and drink voucher and reserved seating.

"We also have general entry of $10 with live music, kids' activities with a jumping castle and pony rides, and entertainment throughout the day with plenty of outside seating, bar facilities and tasty food options."

Scone-based trainers Scott Singleton and Brett Cavanough have each nominated three gallopers for the feature.

Singleton's entries are Melody Again (Rosehill Highway winner last August), One Beat No Beat (promising filly with two wins and two placings from four starts) and Russley Crown (four-time winner who will be first-up).

Cavanough's trio are Rhythm Is A Dancer (five-time winner including the Country Cup during the Scone Carnival), Bonjour Rupert (two-time winner) and Sting Jet (first-up winner of the Scone Country Championships Preview).
