The track is rated a good 4 and the rail will be out 9m over the entire circuit.

Our Ladbrokes preview can be found below.

RACE 1 - 2:30PM: JOCKEY WATCH PLATE PLATE MAIDEN SW (1400 METRES)

The Shaper resumed with a terrific effort over 1300m here a fortnight ago.

After settling back in the second half of the field, the Street Boss gelding charged home down the outside to challenge the short priced favourite and was just denied in a bob of heads.

Put away after his debut run back in May of last year, the three year old has been given plenty of time to mature and will have taken good natural improvement from that first up outing.

The slight rise in trip looks ideal and Damian Lane retains the ride for Anthony and Sam Freedman.

1 unit – THE SHAPER

BET NOW: Sandown Race 1

RACE 2 - 3:05PM: IVE HANDICAP BM64 (1000 METRES)

Ezeiza has just had the two race starts and looks very promising.

She showed plenty of determination to get the job done on debut at Bendigo and last start she was strong to line again but just bumped into, what looks to be, a very smart one.

A daughter of Rubick, she possesses good natural speed and with the advantage of the inside draw she's set to receive all the favours here.

Damian Lane partnered her on debut and will go back in the saddle for Cliff Brown.

1 unit – EZEIZA

BET NOW: Sandown Race 2

RACE 3 - 3:40PM: MAKE IT LOOK EASY HANDICAP BM70 (3000 METRES)

Border Leicester is racing in career best form and comes off a determined last start victory over 3000m at the Valley.

After settling just worse than midfield, he swept to the lead in a bold mid race move and under the 60kg, fought strongly to hold off the challengers and score by just over a length.

With over a year off the scene the seven year old son of Redwood has made it three wins from five runs this campaign and looks to have found his niche over the longer staying tests.

Emma-Lee and David Browne have elected to claim, securing Sheridan Clarke to do the steering and take 3kgs off.

BET NOW: Sandown Race 3

RACE 4 - 4:14PM: TOBIN BROTHERS CELEBRATING LIVES HANDICAP BM64 (2400 METRES)

Samuel Langhorne comes off an eye catching run over this track and distance two weeks ago.

Only lightly raced, the son of Shocking travelled quite keen through the early part but was still able to produce a strong turn of foot to charge late into second.

After beginning his career in New Zealand, the former Kiwi has performed well in all of his Australian starts and looks to have plenty of upside.

With the three runs under his belt, he's at peak fitness, he gets the advantage of the inside draw and with the blinkers going, on you'd expect him to settle closer in the run and be hard to beat.

2 units – SAMUEL LANGHORNE

BET NOW: Sandown Race 4

RACE 5 - 4:50PM: FAST FORM HANDICAP BM64 (1300 METRES)

Dual Pressure kicked off his campaign with a gutsy win over 1125m at Kyneton three weeks ago.

Held up in the early part of the straight, he was able to pick up strongly under 61.5kgs to get the job done.

The son of Denman does rise in grade but was performing well against quality opposition in the Spring, so he's certainly up to this class.

He will have taken improvement from that fist up run and the step out to 1300m will suit.

Damian Lane knows him well and goes back onboard for Matthew Ellerton.

1 unit – DUAL PRESSURE

BET NOW: Sandown Race 5

RACE 6 - 5:25PM: EVERGREEN TURF HANDICAP BM70 F&M (1400 METRES)

Hell Hound resumes off an eight week let up after failing first up.

Over the 1300m here, she settled at the tail but was left flat footed when the sprint went on and never really looked comfortable in the straight.

Given extra time, she returns off two encouraging jump out wins and has she has won first up previously.

She's proven herself a very capable mare and was performing well in stronger company last campaign.

Barrier two will see her settle closer in the run under Ben Melham, who goes onboard for the Price / Kent team.

1 unit – HELL HOUND

BET NOW: Sandown race 6

RACE 7 - 6:00PM: THOROUGHBRED CLUB AUSTRALIA HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

Modown was only narrowly beaten when resuming at Pakenham late last month.

Slightly slow away, he settled back second last and worked home strongly, going to the line with the very smart Lively, who just got the better of him on the line.

The son of Toronado showed plenty of natural talent in his first campaign, scoring at his second race start before finishing the runner up in the Listed Amanda Elliot.

Sent for a spell after failing in the soft conditions in the Sandown Guineas, he looks to have come back in top order and the rise to 1400m will suit.

Craig Williams has been in the saddle for all five raceday appearances and he will again do the steering for Charlotte Littlefield

1 unit – MODOWN

BET NOW: Sandown Race 7

RACE 8 - 6:30PM: BET WITH MATES HANDICAP BM78 (1400 METRES)

Team Hayes look to have Master Montaro back to his best.

Sent to Hong Kong after saluting at his first two starts down under, the Toronado gelding was performing well in the Asian racing mecca but found his way back home after his form tapered off.

After almost a year off the scene he's performed well in all four starts this time in, scoring over 1300m on the Lakeside, before just going down narrowly in BM78 last start.

With four weeks between those last two runs he strips fitter here and the step to 1400m looks ideal.

Blaike McDougall goes onboard for the first time and if he can overcome the awkward draw, he 'll be right there at the finish.

1 unit E/W – MASTER MONTARO

BET NOW: Sandown Race 8
