Winning Trainer: Stephen Marsh (rep by Dean Williams)
"He couldn't have come over any better. I had a good chat to Stephen before he came over and they haad give him a week in the paddock after the NZ Derby to really freshen him up and he was very happy with his work and when he got here on Tuesday night he hasn't turned a hair.
"We couldn't have wished for a better ride. It was a sticky gate, we left him with an open book.
"Coming back in trip he did the right thing early and just letting him roll into it. Perfect ride and tough effort."
Re Orchestral coming over and racing against each other: "I'd say the Adelaide Derby is more likely for Antrim Coast.
"Sydney looks strong and we need to avoid Orchestral again. I don't think the Aussies will know what hit them when she turns up."
Winning Jockey: Michael Dee
"I've had a little bit to do with The Oaks Stud in the past, especially when I was back in New Zealand.
"It is good that they've been able to bring one over. It was a good run last start and a very good training effort to come back to the 2000-metres around Moonee Valley.
"I dare say that he didn't get around Moonee Valley that well, to be honest, because every corner he wanted to lay outwards and didn't corner that well.
"We got taken on down the side and had to go quite early. To be honest, I thought we got beaten on the line.
"It was a super effort.
"To be honest, I had no idea what we were going to do so credit to Dean Williams. I came out and he asked what I wanted to do. I said I had no idea.
"He said, well try out luck and give him a bang because he believes he's not an out-and-out stayer and to his credit we were able to go and push forward.
"The speed was hot early and we were able to get into a nice spot."
