Nine races are scheduled to be run and won at Doomben this Saturday and we've got you covered!

The rail is out 3.5m the entire course with a soft racing surface looking most likely with the chance of showers on race day.

We've provided our top selections in each race below.

RACE 1 - 11:53PM: QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap (1110 METRES)

Ally (9) is on debut for Chris Munce following two trials and by all reports, has plenty of ability.

The daughter of Omaha Beach had her first trial in September but has been given time to mature since then and it has paid dividends.

She looked very good in a trial last month where she cruised around on speed on a Soft 6 at Doomben to finish a close second.

She has the early speed to settle in a prominent position for Sam Collett.

BET NOW: Doomben Race 1

RACE 2 - 12:28PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (2020 METRES)

Moszur (2) didn't look comfortable on the synthetic surface at the Sunshine Coast last start but despite that, won easily.

The David Vandyke-trained daughter of Churchill will appreciate returning to grass given she was a dominant 3.8 length winner over 1690m at Ipswich two starts back.

She's at peak fitness now so the rise to 2020m looks suitable.

Ryan Maloney, who boasts a 32% winning strike-rate with Vandyke, can settle in a forward position from barrier 3.

1 Unit – Moszur (2)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 2

RACE 3 - 1:03PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (2200 METRES)

Disputed River (7) has been freshened since finishing third by 2.1 lengths to Bak Da Man over 2400m here last start.

Before that, the Stu Kendrick-trained gelding won three in row, including once over 2020m here three starts ago.

Kendrick has cleverly booked apprentice Bailey Wheeler whose 2kg claim will see him meet Bak Da Man at equal weights which is a 5kg turnaround to Disputed River's advantage from last start.

He maps to get a great run in a race that doesn't look to have a great deal of speed engaged.

1 Unit – Disputed River (7)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 3

RACE 4 - 1:38PM: OPEN QUALITY HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

Chinny Boom (3) returned in terrific order on Jewel Day at the Gold Coast following an eight-week break.

The Clinton Taylor-trained Rockhampton rocket settled in the box seat before dashing clear to win by just under a length.

She'll strip fitter second-up and has finished second in both her previous starts over this course and distance to quality horses Stroll and Lady Laguna.

She has the necessary early speed to cross and find a prominent position from the outside gate.

2 Units – Chinny Boom (3)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 4

RACE 5 - 2:13PM: BENCHMARK 70 Handicap (1615 METRES)

Simply Refuse (14) looks close to a win given she has improved at each of her three runs this preparation.

The Jack Bruce-trained daughter of Pierro caught the eye last start over this course and distance when working to the line strongly to finish a neck second.

She rises slightly in class but will drop to just 55kg with Jake Bayliss in the saddle.

She's been blessed with a good barrier which should see her getting every chance now she's at peak fitness.

1 Unit – Simply Refuse (14)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 5

RACE 6 - 2:48PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (1110 METRES)

Xtravagant Star (7) brings superior Sydney form to this race and looks hard to beat.

The Ciaron Maher-trained four-year-old mare gave a big sight first-up at Rosehill but was run down late to finish a neck second.

Last start she loomed in the Group 3 Birthday Card Stakes where she couldn't go with Chain Of Lightning but still fought on well for a 3.8 length seventh.

Chain Of Lightning franked that form by winning the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes at her next start.

She should enjoy a great from barrier 3 for Ryan Maloney.

2 Units – Xtravagant Star (7)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 6

RACE 7 - 3:27PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old Fillies Handicap (1350 METRES)

Torabella (10) is looking to remain undefeated as she lines up for her third race start.

The Tony Gollan-trained Toronado filly has been freshened after leading all the way over 1660m here last start.

She drops to 1350m but I don't think that's a bad thing given she's fresh, and she also bolted in by 3.3 lengths over this distance at Ipswich on debut.

Angela Jones has been aboard for both wins and can settle on speed from the good gate.

With the light weight she can prove hard to run down.

1 Unit – Torabella (10)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 7

RACE 8 - 4:07PM: OPEN QUALITY HANDICAP (1350 METRES)

At Witz End (10) has had a new lease on life since joining the Daniel Bowen stable.

Two starts back the eight-year-old gelding raced on speed at Grafton before dashing clear to win by 3.5 lengths.

Bowen brought him to Doomben last start where despite sitting three-wide the trip, he sprinted hard and fast to win the 1200m contest dominantly by a length.

Given the way he powered through the line and the fact he has won twice over the course and distance, the rise to 1350m looks ideal.

He has a light weight and maps to be handy in the run.

1 Unit – At Witz End (10)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 8

RACE 9 - 4:43PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (1350 METRES)

An extremely open race to finish the day with $6.50 the field at time of writing.

Evocator (6) produced an excellent first-up performance to win over 1200m at Eagle Farm last start, but all credit must go to jockey Tahlia Fenlon.

The apprentice settled at the back of the field before weaving a path up the inside to get her mount over the line for a neck victory.

The five-year-old gelding has been kept fresh ahead of his second-up assignment and does race well that way.

A genuine speed will suit and he should enjoy the rise in distance.

1 Unit – Evocator (6)

BET NOW: Doomben Race 9
