Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 3.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Armidale amd Warrnambool.
HAWKESBURY: RACE 6 @ 4:45 PM
Race complexion has changed substantially after raceday scratchings. MISTY LEGEND (6) is back from a spell of four months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 900m at Newcastle. Fitter for a recent trial win at Randwick. Has been gelded over the break and makes plenty of appeal. Hard to beat. ROMEO'S CHOICE (5) is back from a five-month lay-off. Consistent gelding with 3/4 placings at this distance. Each-way hope. LINGUEE (15) shapes as a main beneficiary of mass scratchings and now profiles as an each way hope.

ARMIDALE: RACE 5 @ 3:12 PM
MASTER MIYAGI (5) is a promising Brave Smash gelding who looks well placed to break his maiden status. Finished runner-up again second-up when an unlucky second over 1000m at Scone on November 20. Ashley Morgan keeps the ride and should prove too slick for these. DANCE OFF (6) trained on the track and will appreciate the drop in grade. Freshened-up for this after disappointing when 11th over 1400m at Scone on October 27. Better placed back to this trip and look for her late. ITALIAN VIKING (2) is a former Victorian-trained gelding now in the Jacob Perrett yard. Has a solid place record and can sneak into the minor money.
SELECTIONS: Master Miyagi to win.
PINJARRA: RACE 10 @ 5:30 PM
ESPRIT GARCON (1) absolutely bolted in first-up at Northam, running over the top to score by 2.8L and smashing the clock in the process. Will most likely get back once again but the extra trip will suit and he can bring up back-to-back victories. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (10) rattled home to just miss first-up at Ascot, beaten 0.4L after jumping the equal favourite. Drawn much better this time and with added fitness under her belt, she is sure to make her presence felt once again. AMARLIE MISS (13) looks to have plenty of upside after a bolt effort at Ascot last start. Back in trip is some concern, but the draw suits and she won't be far away. SHEZGOTTHALOT (12) disappointed first-up but is much better than what she showed there. Expecting her to bounce back in a big way. STREET MASCHINO (2) may find this on the sharp side but can be strong at the finish if they overdo it up front.
SELECTIONS: Esprit Garcon is the one to beat.
CLARE: RACE 1 @ 1:00 PM
JEWEL DE LUNE (10) finds the maiden win elusive but it certainly hasn't been without trying, placing in 5/8 starts. Continued the trend last time out when runner-up over 1800m at Murray Bridge after she was prominent throughout. Ideally placed and only needs to hold her form to be very competitive again. TALL LETTER (7) gave backers a sight last start at Balaklava, only to be claimed close to the line. Similar effort sees him in the thick of it. CAMBERWOOD (1) will find this easier. Not without claims.
SELECTIONS: Jewel De Lune gets the nod.
