Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 18.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Bathurst and Kempsey.
BATHURST: RACE 4 @ 3:35 PM
LEHNDORFF (1) was solid first up and then delivered a CL1 at Scone over a mile. He has plenty up his sleeve and has won third up. In a top metro barn and can go on with it. SEMPER FORTIS (4) won first up on a good track and has improved his figures since on heavy surfaces. Coming back 200m shouldn't bother and Cahill sticking is a decent push. Draws low and can control the race. NOT TOO BAD (2) has been racing well. Won well at Narromine racing forward. This looks a touch stronger but it wouldn't surprise if he went on with it. FOXY BARONESS (6) disappointed in the same contest but the form prior was good and she's also in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Lehndorff.

KEMPSEY: RACE 2 @ 2:40 PM
THE MANAGER (6) excellent debut when settled back before launching late when a solid fifth over 1205m at Coffs Harbour on November 30. Strips much fitter now and extra trip suits. Has the ability to take this out. TOSEN DREAMER (11) has a solid place record and due for a change of luck. Tough run from the wide gate when third over 1250m at Ballina on December 4. Placed this trip and looks well graded today. NIKODY'S DIEGO (4) is a 19-start maiden who looks close to breaking his maiden status. Strong through the line when a tenacious second over 1400m at Armidale on December 3. Claim helps again and finds a fairly weak maiden. THOUGHT CRIME (5) fourth-up today and looks ready for the 1450m. Taken back from the wide gate when eighth over 1300m at Taree on November 27. Blinkers come off and no surprise to see him take a hand in the finish.
SELECTIONS: The Manager to win.
