Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for January 15.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Dubbo, Muswellbrook and Warwick.
DUBBO: RACE 7 @ 5:40 PM
ADELSUN (8) went back from a wide alley before making significant ground to just miss the placings last start over this distance at Tamworth. Usually peaks at this stage of the prep so from a better gate today she can settle closer and take care of this field. MARYLAND BRIDGE (12) has been poor at her last couple of runs, most recently on a heavy track at Muswellbrook which can be forgiven. All her form comes at Dubbo so a better performance will not surprise. PANTS ON FIRE (7) appreciated the drop in class when she took out a Bm50 over 1200m here recently. Won at her only attempt at 1400m so at the third run back she cannot be ruled out. DIVINE RENDEZVOUS (13) tried hard but could only get within 0.9 lengths of Pants On Fire here last time. Can turn the tables over the extra furlong. KALPANA (14) was just fair first-up at Warren but this is a far more suitable assignment.
SELECTIONS: Adelsun should be too good.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 1 @ 1:35 PM
DIZE (3) was an impressive Gosford winner on debut and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory and day at the races. Winning hoop Roper sticks in the irons and no surprises to see her go back-to-back to start the career. Former Victorian MYSWEETMOSES (1) is having his first run for the new stable but did show glimpses of ability down south. Drawn to get a soft run from gate two and can play a role in the outcome. SNITZAROO (6) didn't measure up at Doomben last time out but go on the strong Gosford win two back. Gets Bullock back on top and should be in this for a long way. FLYING BIRDS (2) has placed around this circuit and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. In the mix. The well-related STORM'S END (8) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the exotics players.
SELECTIONS: Dize to make it two on the trot.
WARWICK: RACE 5 @ 3:28 PM
SEIRYU (8) has been very consistent with a string of top-three finishes to her name. Won her maiden over this distance three starts back and has gone under by narrow margins since, most recently when a 0.4L third at Sunshine Coast. Going well and looks nicely placed. ONE REASON (2) is a newcomer to the Wallace yard from Victoria and brings some good form including a second two back at Ararat. Draws well and can measure up. TATTLE (9) kicked off her campaign with a maiden win at Toowoomba before leading to place there last start. Draws well and can be competitive.
SELECTIONS: Seiryu has the form on the board. Backing to win.
