Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for January 26.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Warwick Farm, Caulfield, Eagle Farm, Wagga, Murray Bridge, Bunbury, Launceston, Hanging Rock and Darwin.
WARWICK FARM: RACE 1 @ 1:40 PM
LOVE AND LIGHT (9) promising Capitalist filly resuming after running a close-up second to FRENCH ENDEAVOUR over 1100m here last July. Since fitted with two sharp trials and expected to take holding out. DETENDU (1) gelding by Epaulette on debut for the David Pfieffer yard. Has impressed in his last two trials and worth noting Rawiller takes the ride. Big market watch. PESCHIERA (10) is a first-starter by I Am Invincible from stakes-winner Talaria. From the Hawkes yard and two trials have been full of merit.
SELECTIONS: Box Quinella 9,1,10.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 2 @ 2:15 PM
LISTENTOZOU (8) looks set to peak third-up and break his maiden status from the inside gate. Strong to the line when a tenacious on-pace second over this track and trip on January 10. Will stalk the speed and prove hard to hold out. DIMITROV (5) nice return two back when second over 1300m here in a Super Maiden on December 20. Had no luck at the Gold Coast when drawing out before running on late to finish seventh over 1400m on January 6. Look for Rawiller getting the best out of him late. MARACAIBO SUN (9) encouraging debut over an unsuitable trip when running on late to secure third over 1200m at Canterbury on January 1. Strips much fitter now and will only improve as he steps out in trip.
SELECTIONS: Listentozou to win.
WAGGA: RACE 6 @ 4:25 PM
DUBLIN (2) worked through his gears nicely to get up for third last time out over 1300m at this track. Gets to this trip for the first time but it seems the right option. Very fit and looks the one to beat with his key rival coming out. TALENTO (10) couldn't muster when resuming on a bog over 1300m at Kembla recently. Maps nicely in behind a hot tempo. Likely improver out to this distance on firmer ground. A MAGIC GUST (1) was a shade disappointing at Wodonga last start after some strong lead-up form. Good miler as a rule so worth another chance. PAZIAH (7) stormed home to win her maiden here at this trip last time. Can go on with it now. OUR FRANKIE (6) finally registered her maiden win here last start. In the mix again with the confidence up.
SELECTIONS: Dublin to win.
MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 1 @ 12:25 PM
DESERT DANCING (10) resumes. Showed some positive signs in her debut prep without striking through. Looks to have come on terrifically during the break on the back of an impressive trial win here in readiness. Expected to take plenty of beating. RADIANT KNIGHT (2) went close to shedding the maiden tag two back at Mt Gambier. Wasn't quite as effective at the latest when sent out a firm favourite at Oakbank but did pull up with excuses. Carries more weight this time but is draw well and is one of the main threats. OK GERRY (12) turned in a nice run last time to finish third over this track and trip. Likely improver with strong prospects. Expect her to be climbing over their backs late. KUITPO KISS (6) made solid inroads late to the line when resuming off a long break here last time out. Sure to have improved with that run under her belt. Don't underestimate.
SELECTIONS: Desert Dancing the one to beat.
LAUNCESTON: RACE 9 @ 10:00 PM
REWARD FOR ROSIE (7) rates to win this. Record at the trip is terrific and she is drawn to be bang there from the outset. Takes a good one to get past her from the right position in running. Trip can also suit CONUMDRUM (3). Lone try was inconclusive, as was last start when worked up pre race and never in the right spot in running. Back to the trials and won nicely since. The Ashy Boy run two back is great form for this. Think that pair hold the aces. VINTAGE DIESEL (1) has been right around the mark of late and should run another honest race. Respect PAGE (4) and KAY OH ELL (6).
SELECTIONS: Keen on the 7-3 quinella.
HANGING ROCK: RACE 5 @ 3:21 PM
COOL HEART (5) is a model of consistency hitting the top-four at her past 11 starts. Has won over this sprint trip and is drawn to get a gun run in transit from the inside alley. Looks very hard to toss in this line-up. TARARUA (3) resumes here but has won when fresh before. Gets 2kg off with the claim and can run a race first-up. JOHN JOSEPH (1) has placed two from two over this journey and rarely puts in a poor performance. Top-three commodity. TOM THE STAR (4) loves this distance range with two wins and nine placings from 16 attempts. Has to be included.
SELECTIONS: Cool Heart to grab a well deserved victory.
