Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Bathurst and Geraldton.
BATHURST: RACE 6 @ 5:10 PM
ONEOFTHETWELVE (6) showed plenty of dash and battled on gamely to hold third when resuming last start over 1200m at Wagga. Improved sharply to win second-up last prep over 1300m at Goulburn. Ideally placed to double his win tally. CANDID (9) hasn't been far away in her last three appearances, the latest effort a 1.9 length sixth over this 1200m at Dubbo. New to this trip but she is very fit and on a seven-day back-up will be popular with punters. LUAI (2) took charge before the corner then went on to record a soft maiden win over this course and distance recently. Progressive gelding who should have no trouble handling this stronger field. CHICO CASINO (5) led all the way to win a weak maiden on debut last time out over 1200m at this track. Big step up today but he has plenty of scope for improvement. Last start Newcastle maiden winner SWEETPEA MOOCHI (3) is starting to put it together and cannot be ruled out.
SELECTIONS: This looks ideal for Oneofthetwelve at nice odds.

GERALDTON: RACE 4 @ 3:16 PM
RANDOM REWARDS (2) saves her best form for this course and distance with two wins and three seconds from just seven attempts and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Winning rider Martinan sticks and again gets the benefit of her 2kg claim. Strong winning prospects. DEVIL GIRL (4) is another last-start winner here and will have derived a stack of confidence from that dominant victory. Can go right on with the job now. WOJTEK (6) is much better than the past couple of runs suggest and no surprise to see him bounce right back to form against this lot. BUTTERFLYROCK (7) is knocking on the door of another win with two consecutive runner-up finishes around this circuit. In the mix. THE COLLECTOR (3) is a bit of a hit or miss type but can feature if he brings his A-game.
