Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for February 19.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Muswellbrook, Sapphire Coast, Cairns and Esperance.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 1 @ 1:55 PM
DALE (11) kept safe in betting on debut when a plugging sixth over 1250m at Randwick Kensington on January 31. Strips fitter now and sharp improvement expected in this company. Go close. MAGIC SORCERER (4) returned in stronger grade when fifth over 1200m at Newcastle on February 6. Trained on the track and placed this trip. HIMORHER (6) second-up today after catching the eye late when fourth over 1000m at Dubbo on February 5. Ready for this distance now and can take a hand in the finish. MY MATE KATE (8) Fair effort last start when resuming, finishing second over 1000m at Tuncurry. Don't underestimate.
SELECTIONS: Dale to win.

CAIRNS: RACE 1 @ 1:38 PM
BRADSHAW (2) has only been beaten narrowly in both of her starts to date and has the perfect inside draw here. She drops back to 950 metres and should get the job done this time. HE CAN JAJA (3) has not had much luck from a couple of wide gates lately and he can settle a lot closer to the pace early on here from a superior draw. The blinkers go on for the first time and they may be enough to see him break through. Can win. ATOMIC THEORY (7) has changed stables again and is fresh up without a public trial. He is a 5-year-old only having his fifth career start so there is room for improvement. Watch the markets. NOVEMBER RHYTHM (5) showed improvement last time out at Townsville when finishing fourth and this field lacks any real depth. Each-way value from a handy draw.
SELECTIONS: Bradshaw to win.
SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 5 @ 4:45 PM
TWO AYE (7) has been freshened up since failing as favourite over 2010m at Moruya a month ago. Beaten a nostril in a Randwick Highway over this distance the run before which is great form for a race of this standard. Should enjoy a nice run back behind a strong tempo and can finish right over the top. The lightly raced SASSY MISSILE (5) disappointed in a Class 1 over 1400m here last time out. Promising mare who might be looking for the mile now so she deserves another chance. WELCOMETOBARBADOS (11) was lining up for just the second time when he worked home hard to finish second over 1400m here recently. Maps nicely behind a slick tempo and is a big chance over the extra furlong. EARL OF DEVON (1) can improve second-up over a more suitable trip. PERUNO (2) was left a bit flat-footed over 1400m last start so the step up to a mile is timely.
SELECTIONS: Two Aye to win.
ESPERANCE: RACE 3 @ 3:10 PM
BEAUTY IN ME (3) recorded another minor placing over 1200m racing handy all the way. Looks well-placed to record an overdue win. SISTER KATE (9) has been cruelled by outside barriers her last three and is going well enough to feature, Finally has a handy barrier and is a chance. FAULT (4) had been threatening before a plainer run last time. Better over 1300m and deserves consideration. JERICHO'S ECHO (2) won this grade and was okay following settling a long way off them from a wide barrier. Draws low today and can get back on track. PARADISE STAR (8) has a similar profile and is also going well enough.
SELECTIONS: With Beauty In Me.
