Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Wyong, Kyneton, Pakenham and Albany.

WYONG: RACE 7 @ 3:55 PM

TIME BANDIT (6) racing in career best form and gets the conditions to suit today. Anchored with the 59.5kg when a tough on-pace third in the heavy (8) going over 1200m at Kembla Grange on March 23. Senior rider on for this and will take catching. QUEEN BESS (8) won two straight before jumping in weight when a close-up fifth at Gosford over the 1200m on March 14. 3kg claim suits and look for her charging late. CASSIEL (7) made a sound debut as favourite when ran on from midfield to score over 1000m here on March 14. Gets all the favours again and not to be underestimated. FIRE AND ICE (1) handy gelding resuming with a good record this trip. Has won first-up and since fitted with two trials. Can sit off them today and run into the minor money.
SELECTIONS: Time Bandit to win.

KYNETON: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM

BORN TO SHINE (5) showed she is close to breaking through with an excellent performance last time out after leading. Likely to find this a shade easier and is expected to go close. CINQUE TERRE (7) had good support at Benalla last time which followed an even first-up run here. Should be at her peak now and looks a solid hope. SPARKELS DIOR (9) disappointed last time after just missing out at Werribee in the run prior. Has the ability and is worthy of respect. STORMSTOUT (10) tired late in the contest on debut at this track. Will be improved by the experience and cannot be left out of calculations.
SELECTIONS: Back Born To Shine to win.

KYNETON: RACE 8 @ 5:00 PM

PRINCESS TOSEN (5) has won two of her last three starts. Finished gamely to get the prize narrowly at Warrnambool last time and can go on with the good work here. HEAVEN FORBID (11) was a Sandown winner in January before a break. Did enough first-up and is sure to have come on from the run. Expected to give this a shake. SPANGLED SIPPER (13) found the Listed grade race in Adelaide too tough last time. The previous couple at Moonee Valley were solid for a race like this. Won't be far away. NO MATTER WHAT (12) was given a break after her most recent appearance in February but did go around in a Yarra Valley hurdle school recently to improve her fitness. Should not be left out of calculations.
SELECTIONS: Back Princess Tosen and Heaven Forbid to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 4 @ 6:45 PM

DISCO PRINCE (5) ran a strong race on debut over 1400m at Ballarat, beaten a head in second. He's a son of Justify who has plenty of upside and should relish the rise to a mile now. Rates highly and should go close. JUST EXPLOSIVE (7) was just behind Disco Prince first-up and will also appreciate the rise in trip. Draws for a soft run for Melham from an inside draw and will take beating. JUST BERRILLIANT (6) debuted here over 1200m and was just fair, giving the indication that more ground will suit. That was a strong maiden. ZOUWALER (10) was in the market but just fair on debut at Kyneton. Can improve. RUAKAKA RAIDER (8) perhaps next best.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Disco Prince.

PAKENHAM: RACE 7 @ 8:15 PM

IMPENDING LINK (3) resumed from a short spell over 1200m at this track and ran well for 4th, beaten 3.5 lengths by a very promising horse in Moby Dick. He's even better suited out to 1400m second-up from the good draw. ZOMBIE MISSILE (10) is coming off a solid maiden win over this track and trip last time out. He looks a promising type who can go on with the job now. HELLOFASTORM (8) beat a handy type albeit in Bm58 grade last time out at Geelong. Can hold the front from the inside gate and take catching. SHUT EYE (5) was poor at Sandown-Hillside last start but is lightly raced and can improve. SHOELESS (4) resumes and can figure.
SELECTIONS: Impending Link to win.

ALBANY: RACE 7 @ 7:00 PM

BEAUTIFUL BAROQUE (9) was quickly back on track easily winning the CL2 over a mile as expected. Narrowly missed at this distance three back and has an inside barrier and weight relief. Can go back-to-back. DOUBLE THUMBS UP (3) just missed two back and found the grade a bit rich his latest. He will be hitting the line hard. FLOPPY (2) brings back-to-back wins and has a handy 2kg claim. This is harder but he'll be around the mark. KNENTII (10) creates interest. Has switched from a Victorian ban on a 35-day return. Was last seen finding a place at Pakenham over a staying trip. Still a Maiden but his figures stack up. Goes in at a price.
SELECTIONS: With Beautiful Baroque.
