Day three of The Pinnacles and the Winterbottom Stakes is the feature, while the Best Bet of the day comes up earlier in the card!
The Pinnacles continues this weekend with the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes the feature, but there's a very competitive undercard.
The market seems have a strong hold on the chances at the time of writing, so picking my way through what looks an open 10-race meeting was somewhat difficult.
One who looks to have the right profile to launch is DEMOLISH in Race 4.
Demolish has been very good in his two runs back from a spell and has the right profile to not only get back to his best third-up and out in trip, but possibly do something we haven't seen the four-year-old produce just yet.
Placed in three Listed events throughout his last campaign, he looks to be building up to those figures through his first and second-up efforts.
Fresh off a dominant weekend, Neville and Steven Parnham team up with this gelding and although it has been over a year since he last tasted victory, he looks to have the right profile for Saturday's event and can end his winning drought.
As stated off the top, it was difficult to find an edge with the market (and punters for that matter) having a good hold on Saturday's racing. One that could be well over the odds though is OVERPASS in the Winterbottom Stakes.
Jumping single figures in The Everest on the back of a superb effort first-up in The Shorts, Overpass didn't run up to expecations in the world's richest race on turf. Despite this, he has numerous ratings that go a long way to winning a Winterbottom, especially when there seems to be a lack of potency at the top of the market.
