Race 1, 1200m Mdn

ZAZEL (9) switched to the Dryden yard and placed here third-up behind a promising Sydney galloper. Races forward and won't have to improve much to take this out. MISS STALWART (4) resumed with a near-miss at the Sapphire Coast and has more up the sleeve. Krough sticks aboard and will give her every chance. TOKYO ICE (2) has been close-up both race starts and can build on those. May have been held back by a heavy track her latest and draws for a soft run. SINGLE BEAT (8) is fourth up and should be ready to show more for an astute local barn. Is on a 7-day return and Nisbet will position her forward.

Race 2, 1300m Bm 60

ALL ASTERN (3) resumed with a solid effort at the Sapphire Coast and then led at Gundagai delivering a 58 comfortably. Four winners have come out of that race and the mare has more to give. First time at 1400m but gets in well with the 3kg claim and the rails barrier advantages. REDFORD (9) won a city trial and then delivered easily at Bathurst on debut heavily bet. In a leading Sydney yard and is sure to have come on. Speed-bred and is up to repeating. OFF DA HIZZLE (8) has been off the boil but will appreciate the longer sprint. In February he was only beaten 3.5L at Newcastle this trip behind Derby winner Major Beel. The form leading into that was also strong. Keep very safe. FLYING EMMY (7) resumes and has switched to Canberra's Kirkup yard. Showed enough with Maher-Eustace in Victoria to keep very safe. Cahill's booking is a positive.

Race 3, 1000m Mdn SW

BEAUTY BOUND (6) missed a nose at Wyong on debut (heavy track) and was immediately spelled. Has impressed in the two city trials leading into this. Has a wide gate but will be tough to beat on what we've seen. The Neasham barn is striking at 27% at this track. Stablemate RESURRECTED (5) resumes off a solid debut in the country and has been gelded. Has had two soft trials and draws for the run of the race. Is likely to go well. CRIMSON SKY (7) was slow off and didn't get into it on debut 363 days ago. Has since switched to Waterhouse-Bott and has had four trials going back to June. Has the blinkers applied and will likely run along. Must be kept very safe. WEGOTABETTERHOFFA (11) is a Goulburn-trained debutant who has trialled well. Has a handy gate and no surprise to see her very competitive.

Race 4, 2000m CL1

AUSTRALIAN HARBOUR (5) found his best when beaten a lip here in a 60 from the front. He presents briefly freshened and has some key gear changes Will likely cross and control the race and they will have to run him down. ALPINE KANDY (8) is an improver from the sharp Neasham barn and is drawn for a soft run. The longer journey will suit, and she is likely to spike the figures again. DIVAZINO (10) peaks off the 2.5L defeat here 13 days ago. Has a soft draw and the blinkers come off. He has more to give, and a firmer surface would likely advantage. SAGRADA (13) peaks and is knocking on the door. Was a narrowly beaten favourite at Newcastle 17 days ago over 1890m. Not sure where he will settle today from the wide gate, but he does possess early pace.

Race 5, 1200m CL1

LONG MEMORY (1) trialled well in town and resumed much improved winning a Hawkesbury Maiden as expected. Draws a handy gate and fitter the Sydney-trained galloper can take the next step. ONEFORIAN (7) is a promising type from the Olive barn. Was heavily bet at Gundagai on debut and overcame plenty of hurdles to win comfortably. Draws well again and is likely to sit closer. MISS BELGIUM (5) is third-up and ready to find her best. She comes back in grade and is likely to push forward from the awkward barrier. Is out to 1200m for the first time but that shouldn't bother. BOLD TRIUMPH (3) switched yards and missed a whisker at Wagga first-up over this trip. Raced an equal favourite and will have every chance to build on that.

Race 6, 1200m Open - Federal

Competitive. MISS OSTEND (2) won twice here and then competed in much stronger at Randwick a month ago and didn't get into it after a slow start. Has won the 900m trial here since and Cahill is a key jockey booking. Tipping she can bounce back. MITTATA (8) is an improver who hits this race at peak fitness. Followed the easy first-up win with a near miss in a 66 and then wasn't far away in a rich Gundagai feature the latest. Comes back 200m and is a decent chance if the inside barrier is managed. PROPHET'S PRIDE (5) led and finished ahead of the above at Gundagai and was a comfortable Open winner at Albury prior. Can run them along from the handy gate and Martin is reunited and has won 2/3 on the mare. FANGELA (1) and TO THE NINES (6) also deserve consideration.

Race 7, 1600m BM 65

A good contest. FINAL COMMENT (8) race forward and was beaten a nose here 13 days ago over the mile. Keeps improving and Heywood rides from an advantageous gate. Olive has switched the visors for the winkers and he can go one better. RELIABLE DUDE (1) just missed first-up in the same contest starting the $3 favourite. The rail needs managing but he has plenty up the sleeve and is also a strong chance. HELLFIRE EXPRESS (6) delivered a CL1 on a heavy track at Orange bet into prohibitive odds. Just missed on a good track at Beaumont-Newcastle first-up and won't have to be much improved to go close. FLIC EN FLAC (5) led beaten 1L at Goulburn first-up and then folded up over 1600m at Warwick Farm bet $5. Presents fitter today back in grade. She won a CL1 here in May at this distance heavily bet and can get back on track.

Race 8, 1000m BM 50

An open race and tricky to assess. HOLD (6) dropped back to this trip and was much better finding a CL1 placing here on the heavy. On a 7-day return and dryer conditions shouldn't bother. Fully fit now and draws for a soft run. Has the weight rise but the local should go close. Tipping TITAN STAR (1) will be much more competitive dropping back to the shorter sprint. Is on a 7-day return and the grade suits. HEZ GOLDEN (2) races forward and brings a 6L heavy-track CL1 win from a non-TAB at Cowra. Just missed a place here three back on a good surface. A chance despite Nisbet preferring to ride Hold for her father. HEAVENLY PROPHET (8) would probably prefer some rain but is knocking on the door and races forward. A hope. ASPIRED (4) is in the mix building on the first-up win at the Sapphire Coast in this grade.
