Despite losing a couple of points in Adelaide, Brisbane now must feel they have turned a corner getting to face Richmond at home.
The Tigers are really struggling in most facets and now take a trip away without all their quality players.
Many a time recently they took on the Lions in big matches but this has suddenly lost that mantle.
Brisbane was pretty good going into the Adelaide Oval and really they should have won. Up 3 goals midway through the last quarter they couldn't hold that.
You need to be doing that to be a Top 4 side. We certainly know Richmond isn't that in 2024 and won't be for some time.
Simply out of the Bulldogs game from the jump, there was not much on the positive front with more injuries.
It will be a long season this year. It might look even nastier after Saturday.
