The big question will be can they do those things when he isn't able to dominate? Will Naughton still be forward at season's end?

Shouldn't matter much here though. West Coast gave it a bit of a crack until near Quarter Time then the Giants put the after burners on. If anything 65 points was a luxury.

You only needed to see Reid running down the wing, linking up with handball, to see what could happen into the future.

For the Eagles sake, it needs to be with them when his body handles the impacts of the season.

Famously last year, when all was on the line, the Bulldogs managed to lose to West Coast at this venue. It cost one a finals birth and amazingly almost cost the other the No 1 pick.

It won't happen again here you would think. Surely!!!
