ADELAIDE v GEELONG

Friday 22 March @ Adelaide Oval

The Adelaide crew have long asked for more Free-To-Air exposure and so get to a bigger stage here taking on Geelong under the Friday night lights.

They had plenty to quibble about the last time they took the field of battle at this ground. You can imagine every score review will be done rather comprehensively.

Those Crows will be really disappointed with the loss on the Gold Coast. It could be put that the middle of the table will be bulging with chances and giving this one away will hurt.

Perhaps making the big comeback in the last 30 minutes would annoy even more, showing they had the capacity but not the desperation earlier.

Sure the conditions were not great but conversely, they were easily able to be anticipated. And yet they went rather tall. Taylor Walker wasn't there but how can you rely on him solely in his twilight.

You do have to temper that they were first up against a side with that run under their belt. This Friday it's even stevens.

Geelong had the luxury of playing from home and did the Joel Selwood Stand its due deference. They'd only wish he could still run out.

But they do have Dangerfield trying to fan his flame for a bit longer and he kicked the sealer. He loves the occasion.

Geelong has played pretty well in Adelaide in the recent past. It's around 50:50 and that is good for a travelling side.

If Adelaide play this one up tempo and run the Cats experience around, they are very dangerous. Geelong will hope to slow it down.

Fancy the Crows will run and gun, and win here. Might be a good scoring game.
