Finally a little light at the end of the tunnel for the Eagles sees them a small hope of winning a game in 2024.

But that will mean they control the Tigers who had a real dip at Norwood Oval last Sunday.

The Eagles have been pathetic again this year but went so far as to be leading the much vaunted Swans at half time. That would have scared Swans fans and multi players who added them for a 3% cream on the top.

Eagles supporters and even management would and possibly should give themselves a hope of winning this type of game.

Trouble is the Tigers have just started to gain some confidence. Fresh off the win over Sydney, they were almost as good against the Saints.

There was just that period in the Third Quarter in which St Kilda kicked 6 goals and that turned the match.

West Coast has lost their last 4 to the Tigers by an average of 57 points. A couple of these were here too. Unless that tide is quelled fast they will struggle.

But something says they might set themselves for this one and it will be closer. So Richmond but only just.
