HAWTHORN v ST KILDA

Saturday 11 May @ UTAS

Leadership was so critical for these sides last week and it will need to be once again in a Launceston clash.

They'd been lacking in it the week before but both got the victory they required. One was expected but the other not.

Hawthorn was very brave after a poor start against the Bulldogs. They did so much right and yet were still a chance to lose it late.

Credit to them for holding firm led by James Sicily. They had the pep up from inclusions but now lose their skipper.

From the St Kilda side of things, they were expected to beat North for sure. After an early hiccup, they got on top and held it all the way.

It wasn't overly pretty but those running half backs with Sinclair, Hill and Wanganeen-Milera using it so well, it will test Hawthorn assuming it's a decent day weather wise down south.

Match Hawthorn St Kilda Ground
Last time they met 14.9 [93] 19.8 [122] Marvel
Last 10 matches 3 wins 7 wins
Notes Last time playing in Launceston was 2018
2015 was the last time the Hawks scored 100+ against St Kilda

However often it isn't an attractive game in Launceston simply due to windy conditions. That plays into the weaker sides hand.

Just think the Saints will still have enough but it won't be so easy. A close game is likely.

Match Selection: St Kilda by 19 points

Suggested Bets: St Kilda 1-39 @ 2.05 @ bet365
