She's tough!

Oscula has been a real flagbearer for the George Boughey yard and the filly is still proving a real force for the trainer and owner Nick Bradley Racing, winning the Group 3 Whispering Angel Oak Tree Stakes under William Buick at Glorious Goodwood.

She only ran in Listed company at Ascot at four days ago - and just pipped at the post by the classy Jumbly in the Valiant Stakes - and Oscula is yet to finish out of the places in six starts this season after a fine and very busy juvenile season. She was the stable's first stakes winner.

"Having a winner here is amazing," the trainer told Racing TV's Lydia Hislop. "She just loves racing and these are the horses that you really dream of having."

Oscula should be better towards the end of the season, says Boughey, who is eyeing the Group 1 Prix de la Foret at ParisLongchamp on Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe day in October.
