The Pharaoh, a colt from the Gerald Ryan stable, followed his debut second in a 3YO Maiden (1100m) at Warwick Farm on 21 December with a good win here. He settled well in third place, behind a solid tempo, moved up rounding the home turn, took the lead at the 100m and then fought back to score well.
