The Mick Price-trained filly Moet Rose put up a nice effort in scoring here on debut, albeit narrowly. She settled in sixth place before switching deeper rounding the home turn. She challenged at the 100m and fought gamely to score by a nose. The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Botttrained filly Our Crown Mistress showed good early pace, settled outside the leader (Extreme Bliss), got to the front at the 200m and then battled gamely for the closest of seconds, also staging a promising effort on debut.
