The Goulburn-trained three-year-old filly Eckstein is now the winner of her past four races in succession, following her Mode Plate (Listed, 1200m) win at Eagle Farm on 10 December by overcoming difficulties in beating older opposition here. She missed the start and worked in the early stages before settling in seventh place. She tracked up (deep) from the 600m, put in a good run (wide out) from the 300m and finished a bit too well to grab a good win nearing the post.
