The Godolphin-raced filly Demerara is now unbeaten in two starts, following her good debut win in a two-year-old maiden (900m) at Kembla Grange in November with an impressive first up win here. She began well, was outside the leader early on, before going to the front approaching the home turn. She then drew away in the straight to score impressively, and in quick time. She looks a smart filly with a bright future.
