Team Hawkes-trained Jadeer created a good impression winning here on debut. He was smartly away and soon crossed to the lead and then steadied the mid-race tempo. He drew clear from the 200m and then went on to score comfortably. Haymate was midfield (wide with cover), switched deep on straightening and ran on nicely for a good second on debut.
