A pair of Peter Moody-trained three-year-olds fought out this event. Crime Fighter raced in sixth place one off the rails before moving up (wide out) rounding the home turn. He showed a good turn of foot to take the lead at the 100m and then drew clear to score nicely by a length and half. His stablemate Mutajara raced behind the leader, eased three wide into the clear on straightening, challenged at the 200m then battled on nicely for a good second. *ANZ
