Belflyer is a promising three-year-old sprinting filly, now winning three of her six starts. She was ridden quietly and settled last in the seven-horse field and remained there to the home turn. She angled for a run between horses at the 200m, got a split shortly afterwards, sprinted to the lead on passing the 100m and went on for a soft win, scoring by just under a length. She was too good for her older opposition and is a promising filly likely to progress to better things.
