Quartzite resumed here for new trainer Bjorn Baker and scored impressively. He was third early but soon drove though along the rails to share the lead. He dashed clear on rounding the home turn and was then untroubled to win by three lengths. It was a smart first-up performance and he looks likely to progress to better things. *ANZ
