Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 40 Million

Competitive opener. We'll go with (2) NAMSAN HORANGI, who showed promise in two starts towards the end of last year, running 5th both times, the latter in a fair time over this trip on December 11th. He has had a couple of months off since then but looked well in a trial last week and from a nice draw can win here. (3) ACE PLAN showed improvement at his latest outing on January 29th when tackling this distance for the first time and only going down narrowly for 2nd in a tight finish. He can sit handy and run on here and will be a danger. So too (8) GLOBAL BOBAE, who comes up in trip after a 2nd and a 4th in two efforts over 1000M. He ran on well enough both times and the additional furlong shouldn't be an issue here. (13) CLAIR BEST ran 4th on debut last September. He didn't offer too many clues in a January trial but may be of interest here. (6) CONCORD QUEEN looks on the correct trajectory having improved significantly at start number two when 3rd to Ace Plan's 2nd

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 40 Million

(4) MUSTANG POWER is set to be the one to beat here. He came off the pace to run 2nd over 1000M leading him to be sent off as favourite on reappearance at this distance on January 29th. Things didn't go his way that day and he finished in 6th place, but the margins weren't huge, and he looks well worth another go here. (6) RISING HAWK is another who will need to be forgiven his latest start when he raced four wide with no cover throughout.  He had been more encouraging on debut, and in this company should be able to get on or close to the early speed. (3) HATMURI has worked home well in all three of his starts to date including last time out when beating a couple of these on his way to 6th place. Expect him to settle midfield here and come on strong late. (10) K N SKETCH took forever to get going on debut but should have come on for the experience and the additional furlong may assist. (8) BURUI JILJU among others with placing chances.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 25 Million

Fillies only here. (11) WONDERFUL WOMAN goes on top following her best finish to date on January 29th when she led for much of the way around over this distance, ultimately coming home in 2nd place. The draw is not kind today but expect here to be quickly up on pace again and she can go all the way this time. (1) WONDERFUL HAWAII was a much-improved 2nd on her latest start, albeit a long way behind a good winner. She gets the inside gate here and can maintain her momentum. (12) K N POST ran on adequately for 6th on debut at this distance in January. She posted a fast final furlong time, and the jockey booking catches the eye here. (9) EAST MAGIC and (4) HWARYEOHAN MISO are others who may have a say in the placings.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Allowance / KRW 40 Million

Fillies and mares only here and (2) SPEED FALCON will be a warm favourite. She is yet to finish any worse than 4th in five outings to date and comes in off a narrow 2nd place over this distance when she had overcome the widest gate to lead almost the entire way around. The draw is more in her favour today and she has every chance or returning to the winner's circle. (14) JUNGCHUBUSA hasn't quite kicked on from her early promise, which saw her win her first two starts. She then faltered a little but has shown signs in her latest couple of figuring things out once again and she can overturn the form on a couple of these who beat her last time. They include (13) SMART HIGH, who ran 2nd to Jungchubusa's 6th when they raced at class and distance on January 23rd. Ultra-consistent, she will be there or thereabouts again. (10) BURUI KKOT and (11) HAPPY SOCKS among others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Good race this. (5) BYEORAK comes up in class having broken her maiden at start number five on January 23rd over 1300M when she was handy throughout and ran on strong. She is up in trip too but comes down in the weights and there could be more improvement in her here. The main danger and probable betting favourite is (7) MAGIC JOY. His solitary win to date came at this distance three starts back at class 6 level and has been 2nd and 3rd in two starts since at this level. He can sit just off the pace and run on strong here. (12) MONEY GARAK ran 2nd to Magic Joy when the latter won before following up with a victory of his own over 1400M. He was a solid 4th at today's distance on his first try at this class on January 30th and can go close again. (11) TITAN SOCKS is up in class and in trip and can be considered along with (3) JOEUN GWANGYE for a bold showing.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1800M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Tricky Race. (5) SARYEONI FIRST is yet to do much wrong in five starts and was a battling winner over 1700M at his latest outing on January 30th. He hasn't finished any worse than 3rd from five starts so far and while up in class, and marginally in distance, he can win again here. (4) CHOTOMA can be a big danger. He has plenty of experience at this level and enters with recent form reading well with back-to-back 4th place finished, the latter at this distance. He tends to go right back in his races and then run on so as long as he doesn't leave himself too much to do, he should be right in the finish. (11) INCHEON CAPTAIN is yet to win in eight attempts but has five top-four finishes. He comes up in trip here, but his running style suggests it may suit. (13) ELITE LINE and (2) DIRT SURFER are others who can enter the calculations.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Another competitive race. (3) EAST IMPACT is probably the one to beat. He is very consistent with four wins from eight in total as well as the fastest time among these for the distance. He doesn't need to lead although is capable of it, and from a great draw he can win. (12) FIGHTING DADDY comes in having won at class and distance in December when he made all. He comes up in the weights and doesn't draw so well, but he should be taken seriously. (8) MAGIC JUNIOR has finished in the top-five in all of his seven appearances to date. He too has run a decent time at this distance and has claims to go close again. (10) SINUI ADEUL beat East Impact as the pair finished 2nd and 3rd at class and distance on Boxing Day before he followed up with a 3rd place over 1400M at the end of last month. He tends to go back and run on and will be doing his best work late again here. (13) JANGSAN GUARD another in the miner money hunt.

Seoul Race 8: Class 3 (1400M) Allowance / KRW 75 Million

A winner of five from seven so far, (7) WISH ME comes in having last run in the Jeju Governor's Cup, where she overcame gate sixteen to run 4th behind the excellent Raon First in a fast time over this distance. She has consistently run fast times and from a fair draw, can get to the pace and can win today. There is a big danger though in the shape of (2) WHIZ MOMENT. She too has amassed a good record and while she was beaten by Wish Me in the Jeju Governor's Cup, she bounced back to run 2nd at this class and distance on January 23rd with a few of today's rivals behind her. She draws well and is a big threat. (5) LUISA came home in 5th place in the Jeju, like Wish Me, having overcome a wide draw. She was 4th behind Whiz Moment on January 23rd but comes down a little in the weights this time and can go close. (11) LADY KELLY and (12) RAON LIGHT MAN are others who can be competitive.

Seoul Race 9: Class 2 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(5) JANGSAN CLEAR suffered a reverse at his latest start when 2nd at class and distance on January 16th. That was his first go at class 2 and it wasn't a bad run at all. Moon Se Young climbs back aboard today and he can sit handy and prove too strong this time around. (13) CUPID MISSION was the one who got the better of Jangsan Clear in that race, getting to an early lead and never relinquishing it. He comes up 3kg in the weights and has a much less favourable draw this time around but can still beat plenty. (7) CLEAN UP HAPPY was 4th in that race, continuing a recent rich vein of form. He has posted fast times at this distance and should be there or thereabouts here. (1) GO UP and (12) WINNER BROWN are the other leading hopes.
