Yesterday he was going for his 17th consecutive win in the Hanshin Spring Jump but it was not to be.  A Shin Click who had blown out in the market from 7.3 to 16.7 managed to get far enough ahead coming into the straight that the second Leo Beyond and third Oji Chosan were 1 ½ lengths away at the wire.

More upsets in Nakayama where the HImba went to Kurino Premium who had gone off at 97.4.  Second went to Ablaze on 29.2 and third to favourite Miss New York, who had got through along the rails but was overtaken by the fast finishing first two.

Sunday two more G2s with the Hochi Hai Fillies Revue over 1400m and at Chukyo the Kinko Sho over 2000m.

Most fancied of the fillies are Namura Clair, a daughter of Mikki Isle is on 2.4, then Sublime Anthem by Lord Kanaloa on 8.3 and T M Spada by Red Spada on 9.0.

At Chukyo current favourite is Jack d'Or on 2.3 with next best Lei Papale on 5.9.  Sanrei Pocket is on 6.5 and Potager 7.9 make up the runners in single figures.
