So far Japan has won three of the five races run to date.

And the last winner so far in the UAE Derby was Crown Pride, trained by Shintami-sensei and ridden by our own Damien Lane.

Yahagi-sensei trained the winners of the Godolphin Mile and the Dubai Gold Cup.  The Mile was won by Bathrat Leon, probably considered an outsider, and the Gold Cup by Stay Foolish under another top Lemaire ride as he battled it down the straight with William Buick on Manobo.  Yahagi is talking Royal Ascot for Stay Foolish and maybe Melbourne Cup will follow.

I had said before today that I thought Japan could win 5 races so 3 down and they only have 2 to go out of the next four races.

There was also a nice win for the Irish when A Case of You won the Al Quoz spribnt.
